vetafab Software GmbH came up with the lexiCan application for all the Windows users out there who need an efficient means of organizing knowledge. Not only is lexiCan a properly good knowledge database, it is also a very easy to use application. You will have no problems accessing all the functionality the application has to offer: collect, organize and link, access, and share knowledge.

The installation file is little over 50MB in size; on a slow internet connection, it may take a bit for the download to complete. Run this file and you will be presented with a setup wizard that will guide you through the installation process. A few clicks later, you will be done with the whole thing and you’ll be able to start using the application.

lexiCan uses a ribbon interface, meaning that links to all the features and functions it has to offer are presented on a ribbon at the top. If you feel the ribbon is in the way, with a simple mouse click you can hide it out of sight. To further customize the interface, yon go to Settings -> Display and choose one of the several color schemes the application has to offer.

The functionality lexiCan has to offer can be broken down as follows: collect, organize and link, access, and share knowledge. The simple truth of the matter is that accessing this functionality is a very uncomplicated matter. Should you have any problems getting started with lexiCan, check out the Help file or download and load the lexiCan manual which is offered as a project for the application. By loading the Manual project, you will get a quick idea of what can be done with the application and you will have access to detailed instructions on how to use the application.

If you're going to use lexiCan on your own, you can choose between the free lexiCan Standard edition and the paid Pro edition. The only difference between the two editions is that the Standard one is limited to a maximum of 30 terms per project.
If you are part of a team and you want all members of the team to use lexiCan, you are well advised to use the Business edition. This is a client-server-solution that is meant to be used by groups and companies.

lexiCan is just a must have for anyone who wants to collect, manage, and share knowledge.
